Public safety
A safe community is a fundamental right of every person in Fresno County. A safe community enhances our quality of life, provides economic opportunities, builds community trust and cohesion and improves public health and safety.
Homelessness
There are several causes of homelessness – Drug abuse, economic hardship, lack of affordable
housing, insufficient healthcare (mental & physical) and domestic abuse are main causes. I will engage all levels of government to address these issues head on.
Protecting Agriculture
Farmers are the backbone of our county. Fresno County provides food and fiber to the world, with over $9 billion in production in 2024. Agricultural theft must be prevented to provide food security and state and federal regulations must protect the local family farms and notoverburden them.
Safe Infrastructure (Roads and Clean Drinking Water)
Improving and maintaining our roads and water infrastructure is key to our future. Having safe and upgraded roads improves commerce and safety for our families, schools and businesses. Clean drinking water is a fundamental right and is the responsibility of local, state and federal agencies. Engaging agencies to improve our water infrastructure before it decays is “an ounce of
prevention is worth a pound of cure” – Benjamin Franklin.
Protecting Taxpayers
Wasteful spending hurts everyone. Providing public safety and public health is the fundamental mission of County Government. Making sure Fresno County citizens receive the services that they pay for and are not overtaxed for boondoggle projects will be my focus as your County Supervisor.
Economic Prosperity
Education is the key for success and economic prosperity. We must work with our local school districts to provide 21st Century education that includes occupational and industrial training. We need a skilled workforce in the trades as well as in the labs to meet the challenges of the AI revolution. This will not only increase the standard of living for families but provide a stable economy for future generations.
